- What is the best visa for long-term stays in Cambodia?
- The EB (business) visa is the most used by expats. It renews annually with no limit and requires no proof of business activity.
- Can you change your visa type after arrival?
- Yes, but only within the first week of arrival under current policy. After that, you need to leave and re-enter the country.
- Are the e-visa and visa on arrival the same thing?
- No. The e-visa is obtained online before departure (3-day processing). The visa on arrival is requested at the immigration counter at the airport.
- What is the Cambodia e-Arrival Card?
- Mandatory since January 2025, it is a digital entry form to complete online within 7 days before arriving by plane. It is separate from the visa.
- Is a work permit needed in addition to the EB visa?
- Yes, the EB visa authorises residence but not legal employment. The work permit is a separate procedure, required for all employees and directors.
