Eligibility

The e-Visa is available to most nationalities including France, Belgium, Switzerland, USA and Canada. Requirements:

  • Passport valid for at least 6 months beyond the intended entry date.
  • No entry ban on Cambodia.
  • Nationality listed on the eligible countries list (check evisa.gov.kh).
  • International credit or debit card (Visa, Mastercard) for online payment.

How to get the e-Visa

  1. Go to evisa.gov.kh — official Ministry of Foreign Affairs portal.
  2. Click “Apply e-Visa”.
  3. Fill in the form: passport details, visa type (T or E), intended entry point.
  4. Upload a passport-size photo (white background, JPG).
  5. Pay USD 36 by card.
  6. Note your payment reference number.
  7. Receive the visa PDF by email within 3 business days.
  8. Print 2 copies — present them on arrival.

Extension / Renewal

A tourist (T) e-Visa can be extended once for 30 days at an immigration office before expiry (≈ USD 45). After that, you must exit Cambodia. For a long-term stay, switch to a Business (EB) visa renewable annually.

What if my e-Visa doesn’t arrive by email?

Check spam. After 5 business days, email evisa@mfaic.gov.kh with your payment reference. Do not pay twice.
