Cambodia’s Ministry of Interior. Administrative oversight of the kingdom’s territorial subdivisions — provinces (), districts ( / ), communes ( / ) — and civil status (marriage, birth, death), handled at the sangkat level under its authority.

• General Department of Immigration (GDI): entry/stay/exit control, visa extensions, deportations.
• National Police: public safety, investigations (number 117).
• Khmer ID and resident cards for Cambodians (and special permits for resident foreigners).
• Sangkat letters: signed by the Sangkat chief under MoI oversight.
