Cambodia’s Ministry of Economy and Finance. Oversees the General Department of Taxation (GDT), the General Department of Customs and Excise (GDCE) and state budget regulation.

The MEF issues the Prakas (ministerial orders) that set the annual brackets for the main taxes: tax on means of transport, ToS, patent tax, VAT, customs duties. It also runs the national payment system through the NBC and the digitalisation of business procedures (CamDX).
