e-Visa

Cambodian visa issued electronically via the official portal evisa.gov.kh, run by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MFAIC).
Distinct from the VOA (Visa on Arrival): the e-Visa is requested online before departure (typically 3 business days), paid by card (30 USD for a T tourist visa) and delivered as a PDF to print and present on arrival. The VOA is obtained at the immigration desk at the airport or land border post.
e-Visa benefits:
- 100% online procedure, card payment.
- No VOA queue on arrival.
- Possibility to include multiple entries depending on the type.
Limitations:
- Valid only for entry through the eligible entry points listed at evisa.gov.kh (main airports, busiest land borders). Check the up-to-date list before booking an unusual route.
- No e-Visa issuance for certain long-stay types (ER, EB) — these are obtained as VOA and extended locally.
