CamControl (Import Export Inspection and Fraud Repression Directorate-General)

Cambodia’s import/export inspection and fraud repression directorate-general. Attached to the Ministry of Commerce (MoC), it works alongside the on quality control and compliance of goods (foodstuffs, manufactured goods, sensitive products, counterfeits).

For a personal move or pet import, CamControl clearance is usually automatic on the forwarder’s side (document check, occasional physical inspection). For commercial importers, CamControl registration may be required in parallel with the MoC licence for regulated categories (food, cosmetics, toys, consumer electronics).
